Hi, everyone!

Welcome to my first blog! In this blog, I will show and review five of my stationary favourites! I hope this blog helps you decide better during your next stationery shopping trip. 🪷

5. Zebra Mildliners

The biggest difference between Zebra Mildliners and generic highlighters is the colour difference. Mildliners tend to have eye-friendly colours that do not hurt your eyes while traditional highlighters have a more neon colour. Two bonuses that come with zebra mildliners are that they are not bulky and easy to hold, and second, they are doubled-ended! One tip is for highlighting and the other can be used for underlining or even writing. In terms of quality, they do not dry up and work very smoothly. Personally, I really enjoy using these mildliners in my notes; they brightened up every page! However, the only downside is that they may be a bit pricy for some, but I am sure that you can get a good deal once they are on sale.

4. Tombow Brush Pens

Tombow brush pens are excellent choices when it comes to calligraphy! They have smooth, and long tips that produce satisfactory strokes. However, keep in mind that these brush pens have a very flexible tip which may not be the best tool for beginners (like me!) because you may lose control of the brush pen very quickly. That is why, in my notes, I use Tombow brush pens for colouring in diagrams. Though if you're an expert in calligraphy, these are for you! They have a variety of colour sets like pastel or even retro colours. The only downside is that the tips may get a little worn out after a while but that is only if you do calligraphy for hours every day.

3. Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens

Tombow Fudenosuke Brush pens are the go-to brush pens for beginners. With their stiff and small tip, it allows you to have more control over your strokes. I bought mine in packs of two, one has a hard tip and the other with a more flexible tip. Personally, I could not find any flaws in them. They have premium quality and honestly, I use them all the time!

2. Zebra Z-Grip Pen

The Zebra Z-Grip Pen is my go-to pen for writing! I have been using it for the best 2.5 years and it's the best! It has a complementary grip holder that won't allow your hands to hurt when writing. Thankfully, they come in large packs so that you have multiple of them. I know that gel pens are very popular on social media and other platforms. However, I think ballpoint pens like the Zebra Z-Grip are highly underrated and deserve more credit!

1. Pilot Frixion Highlighters

The best thing about these highlighters is that they are erasable! With friction, you can easily erase a mistake. They come in packs of six and have colours pink, orange, yellow, yellow, green, blue, and purple. In addition, their colours are also pastel so you don't have to worry about them hurting your eyes. Their tips aren't too bulky so it allows you to see what text or material you are highlighting. Keep in mind that they may leave a very faint mark when you erase, depending on the quality of your paper.
