Motivativation is the ultimate "booster juice" we need to keep going daily. In this article, I will discuss three methods for staying motivated!

Good luck to you all on your motivation journeys! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ˜‰

1. Track Your Progress

Tracking your progress not only helps you to stay focused but also allows you to have a visual representation of how far you've come. Essentially, it will enable you to see that your efforts are worth something.

STEPS ON TRACKING YOUR PROGRESS:

  1. Set a long-term goal & specify the date you want to achieve it.

  2. Set daily mini-goals relevant to your long-term goal.

  3. Each time you achieve your mini-goal, document it. This can be on a digital (spreadsheets, google documents, etc) or a tangible platform (ex. a notebook). Each mini-goal is a step closer to your main goal.

  4. Do not forget to check in regularly! ๐Ÿ“ฃ

2. Find Your Motivation Source

Motivation is tricky. Think of it as this: they are like rechargeable batteries, they need to be charged. However, with a source, you can "refuel" when burnt out. The important takeaway is to find your OWN source; it can be anything positive that fills you up with ambition and drive!

Below is a list of motivation sources I highly recommend when feeling burnout!

FOUR RECOMMENDED SOURCES OF MOTIVATION:

  1. Studytee (YouTube Channel) ๐ŸŽฅ

  2. TED Talks ๐Ÿ—ฃ

  3. Daily Boost Motivation and Coaching (Podcast available on Spotify) ๐ŸŽ™

  4. Law of Attraction Coaching (YouTube Channel) ๐ŸŽฅ

3. Have A Reward System

Working hard for no results is pointless and exhausting; a perfect recipe for burnout. So, make it your responsibility to reward yourself - big or small - after an accomplishment. For example, you can reward yourself by buying a snack after a long study session. This allows you to have a mental break and actually enjoy studying because you are connecting to the feeling of joy in the task.

Below are some ideas on how to reward yourself! ๐Ÿ˜Œ

FIVE REWARD IDEAS:

  1. Go to the movies. ๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŽฌ

  2. Spend time with friends or family. ๐Ÿ˜†

  3. Take a self-care day. ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

  4. Spend a day in outdoors. ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒท

  5. Buy a snack. ๐Ÿฉ
